Tennessee River

Signature Style

This one sits right on the edge of the Tennessee River. We brought in IPE (Brazilian walnut) for the exterior accents and screened porch floors, and used antique beams in the dining room ceiling with custom gussets outside. The screened-in porch ties it all together with a view that’ll stop you in your tracks. Clean lines, layered textures, and small details done right. That’s what we’re about.

Meet Robbie

Robbie Williford has been building homes across the Shoals since the early 90s. Not just managing crews, but working with his hands, walking every job site, and making sure every detail feels right.

He doesn't build from a stack of stock plans. Every home is custom. Every project is personal. Backed by a team of full-time craftsmen, Robbie leads with care, precision, and decades of experience doing things the right way, even when it's the hard way.

Because the homes he builds aren't just houses. They're hand-crafted spaces made to last for generations.

Why Custom?

Our homes are one-of-a-kind. No spec plans. No cookie-cutter neighborhoods. Just personal spaces designed with purpose, brought to life with real materials and skilled hands.

Our Process

Step 1: Plan it Out

Before we break ground, we’ll sit down and talk through what you're wanting to build. Most people bring blueprints, or at least a rough idea. We'll talk about the budget, land, style, and timeline so we know where we're headed.

Step 2: Price it Right

Once we know what you're building, we put together real numbers. We bring in quotes from trusted subcontractors for things like plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. All the woodwork, including trim, cabinets, and built-ins, is done by me and my team. We handle it ourselves and we do it right.

Step 3: Build it By Hand

This is where the work begins. My crew shows up ready to go. We build everything with care and experience, using real materials and proven methods. We make sure it's done right, just like if we were building it for our own families. You'll get regular updates, walkthroughs, and photos so you're never left wondering where things stand.

Step 4: Finish Strong

Once the home is built, we walk it together. We make a punch list, take care of any final touches, and make sure every detail is just how you imagined it. We don't hand over the keys until we're both proud of what we’ve built. When you step inside for the first time, it won't feel like a project. It'll feel like home.

  • Most of our builds take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years after we break ground. It all depends on the scope of the home. Before we ever touch the dirt, we take time to walk through your plans, your land, and your budget so everything is lined up from the start.

  • Right now. Even if you’re still early, it helps to start the conversation. We usually book projects 6 months in advance, so the sooner we talk, the better we can plan for land, plans, and timelines.

  • We build fully custom homes. If you already have blueprints, that’s great. If not, we can connect you with a draftsman or architect we trust. Either way, we’re here to help shape your ideas into something that works.

  • Robbie is hands-on. He’s on the job site every week and still builds with his own team. We don’t do cookie-cutter homes or pass your project off to someone else. We care about the details and the people behind them.

  • We don’t offer in-house financing, but we work closely with homeowners and their banks. Robbie walks through your plans and works up a price based on real subcontractor quotes, not guesses.
